Airports:
We have two airports in Chicago (O’hare and Midway). The Irish American Heritage Center is closer to O’hare and is an easy 30 minute blue line train ride. Midway is about 1.5 hours by train using the orange and blue lines. Lyft, Uber, and taxis are also available at both airports.
Around the city:
Public transportation as well as Uber and Lyft can be used to get around Chicago. Uber pool is very inexpensive. Please post on the Facebook site if you are interested in carpooling. Irish American Heritage Center is accessible by Blue Line Train. It takes about 30 minutes to get to O’hare or downtown Chicago using public transportation from the Irish American Heritage Center.
Parking
There are free parking lots on the North and South sides of the building. It a short walk to the Montrose Blue Line Train stop.
